Graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1970, he was awarded the Extraordinary Prize in Private Law (1971). Member (number 12434) of the Madrid Bar Association.
Between 1970 to 1975 he practiced as a lawyer in the “Aparicio Bernal Law Firm” in which he reached the status of Partner. Head of the Legal Department of the Corporation Agracón, S.A. between 1975 and 1978, combining his work as Professor of Commercial Law II at the Cardenal Cisneros University College.
In 1978 he joined the “Sánchez Pintado Law Firm”, of which Mr. José Villacañas Berenguer, Mr. José María de la Cuesta Rute and Mr. Emilio Sánchez Pintado were partners. In 1982 he became Partner of the firm, which changed its name to “Sánchez Pintado, De la Cuesta Rute and Rodríguez-Piñero”.
Founding partner since 1985 of the Law Firm “Abogados Asociados” which was formed, throughout its practically 20 years of existence, by different partners, Mr. Emilio Sánchez, Pintado, Mr. José María de la Cuesta Rute, (Professor of Commercial Law ), Mr. José Luis Lampreave, (Professor of Political Economy and Public Finance), and Ms. Isabel Cebrián Plaza.
In 1999, he was appointed 1st Vice President of the Lawyers Association for the ethics and quality of the Law ”(SCEVOLA), in which he was a founding partner.
Founding partner and Director of the Private Law Department of the Firm “Rodríguez-Piñero Abogados Asociados”, since its creation in 2004.
He held the position of Secretary of the Governing Board of the Madrid Bar Association, being appointed rapporteur for the Drafting of the New Bylaws after the entry into force of the General Statute of the Legal Profession and the Law of Professional Associations, both National and of the Autonomous Region of Madrid. Said Bylaws were approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting held on July 19th, 2006.
He is an Arbitrator of the Madrid Court of Arbitration. Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid.
